Written as a challenge to find hope in a sea of despair, a crumb of humanity among the ruins, Broken Land brings a light touch to a serious note. A transitional period in life meant looking at the world through fresh eyes and seeing things laid bare. Cherry White know how to bring powerful music to an audience, over 200 loud, sweaty gigs will do that, and Broken Land is a song that was developed on the road in front of live audiences.
